Arsenal are interested in signing West Ham United’s young defender Reece Oxford, according to a report on the Mirror.
Oxford has not been in any of Manuel Pellegrini’s Premier League matchday squads yet this season and is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of first team action given to him.

The young defender was loaned to Bundesliga club Borussia Moenchengladbach last season and they were keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, the Hammers rejected their approach and decided to keep Oxford at the club this season.
Pellegrini has now warned the Englishman that his future at the club is not secure, which has alerted the Gunners.
With Unai Emery suffering a defensive crisis at the moment, he is considering a January move for Oxford to ease his defensive concerns.
Arsenal may even be prepared to wait until the summer to sign the 20-year-old but could face competition as Everton are also interested in signing him.
Oxford is one of England’s highest rated youngsters and has risen through the ranks of the national team.
