Arsenal manager Unai Emery revealed that he doesn’t know much about Mesut Ozil’s injury that kept him out of the north London derby on Sunday.
As reported on Goal, Ozil surprisingly missed the entertaining encounter between the rivals at the Emirates Stadium.
It later emerged that the German international had been suffering from back pain and was not fit enough for the match day squad.

Following the match, Emery was quizzed about Ozil’s absence and he said:
He has back ache.
The manager was then asked if he knew when the problem occurred, to which he replied:
I don’t know.
He also confirmed that he had no idea if Ozil was present at the stadium to watch the Gunners defeat Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Emery was praised for bringing on Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette at half-time, with both players inspiring Arsenal to victory after coming on.
Fortunately for Arsenal, they did not miss Ozil’s creativity and vision, but the manager will want to get to the bottom of the problem as quickly as possible.
