Koscielny and Lacazette being assessed ahead of Vorskla clash

Arsenal duo Laurent Koscielny and Alexandre Lacazette are continuing to be assessed ahead of the Gunners’ Europa League clash with FC Vorskla, according to a report on the official club website.

Koscielny played 45 minutes for Arsenal’s U23 side against Derby County on Monday and the medical team will assess him once more before Thursday’s match.

Lacazette missed out on Arsenal’s 2-1 away victory over Bournemouth in their latest Premier League match with a groin problem and will also be given a late fitness check on Thursday.

Manager Unai Emery will only want to use both Frenchman if they are fully fit. Arsenal have already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition with three victories and one draw so far in the group, with two matches remaining.

Stephan Lichtsteiner is back in full training after a hamstring problem, whilst Nacho Monreal is still two weeks away from returning to full training.
