We all know how frustrating transfers can be, but we also know how it feels to sign an absolute star too; Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez spring to mind.
However, when things go quiet in the world of Arsenal incomings and outgoings, it’s easy to see why some fans get annoyed.
Arsenal clearly need to make a couple more signings this summer, but who do the fans want them to bring in?
We asked the followers of our site’s Twitter account, @ReadArsenalFC, for realistic suggestions. We simply asked if Arsenal could only sign one player between now and the end of the window, who would the fans want.
To say the replies were a bit of a mixed bag is an understatement, here are just a selection of names that were mentioned:
Twitter: @ReadArsenalFC Draxler is possibly the only realistic one tbh. Can’t see Wenger signing Icardi/Lacazette . (@OzilVision11)
Twitter: @ReadArsenalFC higuain (@Amir_A_Omar)
Twitter: @ReadArsenalFC Antoine Griezmann, would be just has happy with Aubameyang, but the question was to name 1 so I’d pick Griezmann (@graemelithgow)
Twitter: @ReadArsenalFC either Draxler or a striker for the starting 11, but such a striker isn’t going to come cheap (@JelleBaltus)
Twitter: @ReadArsenalFC koulibaly, lukaku and lacazette. Oh, one… (@Stortaa)
