Arsenal training report: Gnabry and Crowley join first-team ahead of trip to Everton

The Arsenal squad trained at London Colney on Friday afternoon ahead of their trip to the north West on Saturday, where they take on Everton at Goodison Park, looking to regain ground on league leaders Leicester City and north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

All of the expected players were involved in practice, while youngsters Serge Gnabry and Daniel Crowley also trained with the first-team.

Both players are regulars with the under-21’s and have spent time away on loan this season, although the two could be sent away from the club once again for the remainder of the campaign, with the deadline for sending players on temporary deals expiring on 24th March.

The likes of Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky, Carl Jenkinson, Petr Cech, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere all missed out on training due to injury.

Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil all trained at London Colney and are expected to play their part in the game at Goodison.

There are no new fresh injury problems bar Flamini’s hamstring which he picked up at the Camp Nou on Wednesday evening, so the team news should be strong with a number of choices for the boss to consider.
