Arsenal training report: Willock and Huddart join in ahead of fifth round replay

Arsenal trained at London Colney on Monday afternoon ahead of their game against Hull City in the FA Cup fifth round replay on Tuesday evening.

The north London side are fresh off their late comeback against Tottenham Hotspur, which they led early in through Aaron Ramsey’s wonder-flick but conceded two goals in quick succession, only for Alexis Sanchez to save the day late on.

First-team training regulars David Ospina and Matt Macey were joined by a third goalkeeper in the absence of Petr Cech on Monday in Ryan Huddart.

The 19-year-old tested himself amongst the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck, while 18-year-old striker Chris Willock also joined in with the first-team.

While it’s unlikely the two will be involved on Tuesday evening, training with the first-team will have been a good experience for both.

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta was also in training but is not expected to be in Tuesday’s squad, with no changes from the 18-man strong side that face Tottenham expected bar the addition of Alex Iwobi for Francis Coquelin.
