Arsenal look to revive their title hopes Sunday against Bournemouth, a team they defeated 2-0 back in late December. However, a lot has happened since then.
The last time the Gunners walked off the pitch with all three points was against Newcastle United, shortly after the turn of the year. Since then, 2016 hasn’t been kind to the north London side, seeing them winless in their last four matches. Dropping nine points and falling down the table them to fourth place, behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Manchester City.

Despite the club’s poor form, Arsene Wenger, as reported by the club’s official website, admitted that he remains optimistic regarding their title chances.
We are in a position where we have to come back first – to win games – which we haven’t been doing recently.
We have to look at the facts as they are. We haven’t won in four games.
We want to get back to winning and then look at the results of the others. Look at yourself and get back to what you want to do, and to do that you have to win your next game.
You look at the table and you can say as many as five or six [can win it]. It makes it interesting – even if we would love it to be a bit less interesting but it is the case and we have to deal with that.

With 14 games left, 11 points separate the top six clubs in one of the most wide-open seasons in recent history.
The good news for Arsenal fans is that their last 14 matches are against the clubs currently ahead of them in Leicester City, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as the clubs around them, when they visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United and a final trip to the Boleyn Ground to face West Ham.
And from Sunday, nine of Arsenal’s 14 remaining games come against teams that currently sit in the bottom half of the table.
Every season is special and we have gone through a bad patch but to fight for the Premier League, you have to be capable of dealing with that.
