The search for Unai Emery’s Arsenal successor has already had plenty of twists and turns.
The Spaniard received the sack last Friday after guiding the club to their worst since 1992.
The Gunners quickly appointed Freddie Ljungberg as interim boss while they look for a new long-term appointment, with multiple high-profile managers linked with the move to North London.
And now, plenty of Arsenal supporters have urged the club to move for River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo.

The 43-year-old is regarded as one of the best coaches in the world and has been tipped to take over at Barcelona in the near future.
@GurjitAFC asked their followers whether or not Gallardo would be a risk worth taking, and the response was extremely positive.

Many fans may not have heard about Gallardo, but he’s established himself as one of the world’s greatest coaches in recent years with his tactical intelligence and attacking approach.
Gallardo’s averaged a trophy every six months during his five-year stint at River Plate and has singlehandedly rebuilt the Argentine squad.
He’s also extremely financially savvy and likes to promote the youth, something Arsenal officials would be happy with.
Gallardo learned under Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa, and if he could bring half of what Bielsa has to the English game, then the Gunners would’ve found themselves a gem.
