Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been discussing Tony Pulis and his West Bromwich Albion side, ahead of this weekend’s clash at the Hawthorns.

The home side are currently sat 13th in the Premier League after a fairly steady start to the campaign but are on the back of two losses in a row, meaning they could provide top opposition and will certainly not want to lose three games on the bounce.

Having faced Pulis a number of times, during his time with both Stoke City and Crystal Palace, Arsene Wenger has claimed that he will expect nothing less from his opponents than a well-organised, physical side.

I watched them against Man United and they looked a very well organised team which is absolutely – as always with Tony Pulis – fully committed.

On top of that they are in a difficult situation a little bit in the Premier League and you expect what you always expect in the Premier League – a committed, physical, fast game and a game where we cannot afford to make any mistakes.

Despite being 11 positions ahead of their opposition, the Frenchman admitted that he doesn’t care for the Premier League table when it comes to his opponents because the tough nature of England’s top division means each and every fixture will be tough.

I would even say that you don’t even look at the table anymore because you know what you get. The difference between the teams has narrowed and today it is more about how much can you be close to your best which will decide the result, more than the team you play against.

Arsenal face West Brom on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off taking place at 15:00 BST.
